It makes no difference whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional. The basic fact is that in order to get the best out of kitesurfing and to enjoy the fun of the extreme sport, you need to select the proper kitesurf kite. Though there are a couple of other gears that are required the basic one is that which provides you with the power to skim over the surface of the water on a special board. It is a fact that the extreme sport of kitesurfing has taken over the world by storm… and why it should not?

Even though it is termed as an extreme sport, there are hardly any dangers associated with it. Even the learning curve is minimal and just takes a few hours. Apart from a large open stretch of water and the minimum of equipment is all that is required for those who are interested. The choice of kites is very important since it makes all the difference between being successful and being unsuccessful as far as enjoying this thrilling sport is concerned. People think that the simple foil kites are not such a good option when compared to the inflatable ones but this is a wrong statement.

In fact many successful kitesurfers prefer foils to inflatables. As a beginner you should go in for the foil kitesurf kite not just because of its low cost but also because it is far simpler to assemble than an inflatable one. An inflatable kite requires installation of an air bladder and this is quite a complicated process and is not recommended for beginners. The number of lines on the foil version is also selectable with options of 2, 3, and 4. In contrast the inflatable ones are just available with 4 lines.

There are certain other things which also add up to the overall cost of the equipment when one opts in for an inflatable kitesurf kite. In this option one also needs to buy a harness because of the sheer pull on the handle tends to numb the hands. The harness helps by distributing the pull of the kite evenly over the body. The open cell design of the foil kitesurf kite allows air to escape in the even of the kite crashing. This helps to prevent damage to it caused by pressure surges. You can rent a kitesurf kite if you are doubtful about which one is suitable for you

Surfing has had a companion sport for quite sometime now and it is usually called skim boarding. This sport has grown in popularity so much that we should take a better look at different kinds of skimboards. After we do this, …

Hope you enjoy the read as much as I did and please if you have something to say, use the comments form below to let everyone know your thoughts.

Have a great day!

Tempted? Think the guarantee of looking at only $100,000+ salary jobs is worth the money you are expected to pay? Are you seduced by what appears to be easy access to $100,000+ jobs? Do you hope all you had to do is submit a resume to job boards wait for the phone to ring? Are you surprised with the poor results? Want to know why?

Most people are surprised they have to pay to see jobs in the $100,000+ range. Experience tells them they shouldn’t have to pay to learn who is hiring. Especially if the “hiring authority” is a recruiter. Yes, you could submit for free and recruiters and employers would have access to your information, information buried with thousands of other high income job seekers. To avoid obscurity, you had to plunk down coin.

Many users of these boards report job opportunities sent for their review are usually outdated, inappropriate to specifications or out of state. The more senior the candidate, the lower the number of possible jobs revealed with an increase of inappropriate descriptions.

Eric, a patron of a $100,000 board had truly exceptional credentials. He was hopeful. His first week, he received seven emails from one job board and not one had anything to do with a new opportunity. He was asked for more money to upgrade his services, or asked for more information or even referrals to other candidates. Adding insult to injury, no one contacted him about appropriate jobs. He felt antagonized by their constant pitch because they delivered nothing. When he decided to discontinue the service, he was billed for an extra month because he missed the expiration date by one day.

He paid a monthly fee (automatically deducted from his credit card for a specified time) just as thousands of other executives and high salary candidates were doing and his resume was lost with theirs. Anyone looking for candidates on these boards skim the first twenty or so resumes, find three or four of interest and move on. Those resumes which have aged or resumes from patrons who didn’t pay for extra services were in the lower pages with thousands of other resumes.

When his resume was fresh, he unknowingly assured himself national competition for any local job he might consider. The odds, had he thought about it, were not worth his monthly bet. He later discovered, credible companies in his town did not use job boards. He had previously been referred to and met with the good recruiters who served his locale and was told they never use job boards, preferring referrals and face to face interviews to best serve their local clients.

Job boards in general market their service based on the large numbers of resumes they circulate, they fail to mention the number of jobs actually filled through their portals. The number, according to experts who review such information, is under 2%. Your time and money would be better spent networking; 87% of senior positions are filled through referrals. This number includes recruiters who also depend on referrals.

Tiresome as the message is, Networking for referrals is the way to find job leads. Time to get back on the telephone and network.

What are the best skimboards for beginners and where can I buy them online?

as for type, if you just want to skimboard accross flat sand rather than catch waves then a plywood or maple wood skimboard will do fine. You should be able to pick one up for around £10 or $15 from ebay or pretty much any beach shop

maple skimmers will start at around £20 as the wood is more expensive. The diffenrence between ply and maple is that ply is weaker and it will warp or bend when left in the hear. Maple is more robust and can withstand high temperatures.

if you are looking to skimboard more skim more seriously then u can go for a foam or fibreglass one. top of the range fibreglass or epoxy ones can be upwards of 300ãã

I want to buy this skim board?

http://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/spo/1840204431.html

its 20 bucks and im a first time skim boarder and i also have one more question would this be a good board for me im 5'10″ 150 lbs

My family’s first beach vacation was in 1997. We went to Mexico Beach, a town in the Florida Panhandle. Even in our Dodge Caravan, known as “the mom-mobile,” we pulled out of the driveway packed to the gills. Since that first trip, we have headed on beach vacations more times than I can count. Here are my tips learned in 10-plus years of packing for vacations in Cape San Blas, Florida, to help you avoid the hassles and be a smart beach vacation packer!

CLOTHING: Create a checklist of clothing to bring. Now reduce that by half, and that is what should actually go in the suitcase! Seriously, depending on the destination and your planned activities, a Spartan approach is fine. Bathing suits, shorts, a cover-up, jeans or slacks for cooler evenings t-shirts or summer blouses, a sundress for ladies and aloha shirt for men, and you’re good to go. As for shoes, flip-flops, Tevas, boat shoes or running shoes for the athletic types. Dress shoes are only worn by, well, tourists. Except for hotels, most Florida beach vacation rentals provide a washer and dryer, so plan to wash things out to lighten the load if you’re tight on space.

LINENS AND TOWELS: If your rental doesn’t supply them, make everyone responsible for finding room in their suitcase for their share. If like me you have a teen-aged diva, make her fit extra bath towels for her hair in her suitcase. Leave super-plush towels behind. In the Florida humidity, they’ll stay damp all week. Opt for thinner towels and nothing you’ll cry over if stained with suntan lotion or left behind. In Cape San Blas vacation rentals, beach towels are a less common amenity. Have each person be responsible for theirs. One per person is plenty. Hang them up each night or throw them in the washer and dryer.

BEACH CHAIRS, TOYS, ETC.: Consult your rental company, since what is guaranteed varies. Are beach chairs provided? If so, how many? What about beach carts, floats, skim boards, boogie boards and kites? Many times you arrive at your vacation rental and find everything you need there, left behind by someone who didn’t want to drag it home. If there is a beach store near your rental, weigh the savings of bringing from home versus waiting until you arrive to make any purchases. Beach chairs take up a lot of room. Don’t take them unless you have to! With any items you do decide to take along, divide things up in as many suitcases as possible.

TOILETRIES, MEDICATION, FIRST AID AND PET SUPPLIES: Do a check-list of needed medications and refill prescriptions well in advance so you have plenty of required drugs to pack for the trip. Many places provide “hotel amenities,” but don’t count on those getting you through the week. Have everybody take a supply of personal toiletries in their suitcase.

Nobody wants to think about a jellyfish sting or other injury, but they happen. Check with the rental company and see if the home has a first aid kit. If not provided or the company is unsure, pack essentials — pain reliever, something for upset stomachs, hydrogen peroxide, band-aids, neosporin, and benadryl for allergic reactions. Important note: Beach vacations often mean bringing your kids’ friends along. Be sure you have a signed medical authorization for each minor and a copy of their insurance card!

For the pets, most pet-friendly vacation rentals require your dog to have current flea treatment. Also bring proof of rabies vaccinations. Find out where the nearest vet is and their contact information. Don’t wait to be dealing with a crisis and have no idea who to call.

RAINY DAY KIT: Ours is simple. We bring a jigsaw puzzle. Find out if the unit has games, puzzles, cards, movies. If not, be sure to bring items or make plans for when beach activities are unavailable due to weather.

SUN PRODUCTS: Go to your favorite discount store and stock up on suntan lotion (we like the spray kind, and you can never bring enough). Select waterproof and maximum SPF. Don’t become a cliche. Growing up I have seen hundreds of visitors underestimate the Florida sun and fry themselves on their first day at the beach. Don’t ruin your vacation! Chap-stick is a must too. Sunglasses for everybody, hats and/or visors. Bring something for sunburn since somebody always gets too much sun.

GROCERIES AND OTHER SUPPLIES: If you have family members with allergies and special needs, definitely pack what they need. We have gone both ways on things like toilet paper and paper towels, but I find the little we save dragging these items to the beach isn’t worth it. We hit the Piggly Wiggly in Port St. Joe the day we arrive or first thing the next morning. Stopping in your unit first to do inventory helps you make wiser purchases. At the Cape, town is 20 minutes away. You want to plan your shopping trips and not spend your whole vacation driving! Your rental agent and their website is a great resource. They should list suppliers for groceries, fresh seafood, etc. If this is your first trip, shop with the mindset of “less is more.” We see so much food go to waste on check-out day from folks who overestimated what they needed. Also, find out what is supplied in your rental, whether a grill, a crock pot, blender or crab pot. When you’re cooking for your family, you want to be sure the kitchen supplies available work with your menu!

BEFORE YOU GO: Review the checklist and be sure you eyeballed everyone’s suitcase. Moms are the ones who realize your son has forgotten his retainer (or even his toothbrush) and your husband didn’t pack a any underwear, but he has golf clubs and 14 fishing poles.

Once you leave home, if you forgot it, you probably don’t need it or you can buy it when you get there. Remember, this is a beach vacation and it’s supposed to be fun and relaxing! You’ve planned, you’ve prepared, and now you deserve to kick back, soak up the sun, read a good book and watch the dolphins and the pelicans from your deck. If you followed these simple rules, you’ll actually have a book, your sunglasses, suntan lotion and your beach towel, too. Enjoy your vacation at one of Florida’s fabulous beaches!

Skimboarding As a Fun Sport to Improve Your Fitness

 [Recreation-and-Sports:Surfing]
Skimboarding was born on the beaches on a board that is much smaller than a surfboard. Skimboarding involves skimming this board along the outgoing shallow waters of retreating waves along the sand. Once the board reaches the waves the user rides the wave back in to shore.

We people seem to make fun out of just about anything. While there are numerous ways of having fun out on the water, we continue to invent additional methods of enjoying ourselves. One such one to consider through using a skimboard out on the waves. Things like surfing and body boarding have long been popular pastimes, but skimboarding has now become a popular activity as well. But how exactly do you do it?

In order to use a skimboard there are a number of steps that need to be taken. The first is to go out and get yourself one, and this can be done number of ways. First of all you can choose to go to a watersports shop that should sell them. You could also choose to use the Internet in order to find one, or can even make one yourself.

Once you have your board then you need to find a relevant beach and get down near to the waves. When you are relatively close to the water’s edge, hold the board to decide of your body, with your arms midway down the board.

You should stand near to the water and learn the timing of the waves. Anyone who is engaging in this activity will know that you will not be writing the actual wave, but merely the residue of the water that is left behind. Once you know the timing, run at a 45 degree angle into the water and throw the board down when the water is receding at a depth of about 3 inches.

As the ball starts to skim across the surface of the water, you should jump onto it with your body turned to the side. Your feet should be positioned sideways as well and roughly a shoulder with a part, similar to using a surfboard. Balance is important, and so you should distribute your weight so that you are comfortable.

As you skim along the top of the water, you are sure to be having a fantastic time.

Not entirely sure how to use a Skimboard? Check out our super skimboard guide for the best low down in town.

Here were the initial tips we shared about dropshipping if you’re not located in the United States.

1.Use local suppliers

2.Use American dropshippers

More Dropship Tips

3. Sell to Americans

If you are having a difficult time getting products shipped to customers in your own country, this may be a solution. Selling only to Americans allows you to use US dropshippers who won’t ship outside the country, and you don’t have to worry about cross-border hang-ups or local tax laws. You will still have to pay taxes on your income to your own government, but you won’t have to worry about currency exchange or any of the other issues attendant with international sales. You may still encounter issues providing suppliers with documentation or setting up merchants accounts to receive your payments.

4. Use Asian Suppliers

As a person located outside the US, you may find that you can use cheap suppliers from countries that are not as accessible to Americans. For instance, if your country is close to China, you can use a wealth of inexpensive Asian suppliers that are more prickly for Americans to use due to the time and expensive of shipping something all the way from China to the US.

5. Switch Products

All would-be online entrepreneurs may have to switch their product idea if they can’t find a good supplier. This is even more true when your supplier pool is limited. Remember, the important thing is to sell a product you can make a profit on; it’s not as important that you absolutely love hostess aprons or chess sets or whatever it is you can find an excellent supplier for.

Other Dropshipping Tips

Don’t Overlook Local Products

If you’re located in some exotic foreign locale, you should see that as a strength, not a weakness. I strongly recommend that you examine your local products when searching for something to sell online. Australian skim boards, Indian henna kits, Moroccan sandals, Balinese jewelry, these may seem like common products with a saturated market in your area, but that doesn’t mean they’re saturated online. I frequently receive requests from Americans who want to sell Australian skim boards, but the Australian suppliers won’t dropship to them. This means that if you’re Australian, you’re actually in luck. Now, obviously shipping is a factor when selling to international customers (bulky, heavy products may not be profitable to ship to overseas), but there are many local products that you can sell on eBay or from a personal website to great effect.

I’m not going to lie and say that dropshipping is equally easy from any country, but I do believe that if you’re flexible you can be successful. You may not be able to sell the product that you first had your heart set on, or use the supplier you first wanted, but there are doubtless other products and suppliers who will work just as well once you find them. At Wholesale Match we can help you find suppliers no matter what country you live in.
